Presentation by Dr. Omar Darío Cardona at the 8th Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and the Caribbean (PR23), on the description and methodological approach of the Global Resilience Index (GIRI) which is currently being developed within the framework of the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI).
The Platform took place from February 28 to March 2 in Punta del Este, Uruguay, where topics related to regional progress in disaster risk reduction and the main challenges in building a resilient future were discussed.
