Ingeniar was part of the GT3 Meeting of the Southern Agricultural Council (CAS, by its Spanish acronym) member of the Inter-American Institute of Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), held in Santiago de Chile on 8 and 9 November 2018. In this event was presented the drought risk model for the agricultural sector of Uruguay to the representants of the Agricultural and Livestock Ministries of Bolivia, Chile, Brasil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina, that conform the GT3.
During this meeting, the methodology of evaluation and results obtained were discussed, as well as the importance of counting with a regional model for drought risk that allows carrying out robust evaluations, in accordance with the state of knowledge and comparable among CAS member countries.
